End of evening civil twilight to the beginning of the following morning civil twilight. (CASR)
Command time
Designated command, with a dedicated ICUS column — in command under supervision, carried on the page in its own right. (CASR Part 61)
Cross-country
Navigation-based, with no minimum distance in the definition. (CASR reg 61.010)
Retention
The logbook must be retained for seven years from the last entry, and entries must be unaltered. This is a strict-liability provision. (CASR Part 61)

What is ICUS, and how is it different from PICUS?
ICUS is Australia’s “in command under supervision”, and it has its own column on the page rather than being folded into command like EASA PICUS. The concept is close; the presentation is not, so an export must place it in the ICUS column rather than adding it to command.
How long must an Australian logbook be kept?
Seven years from the last entry, with entries unaltered — a strict-liability requirement, and longer than most other authorities in this set.
